Monarch Tagging at Tryon Farm – Sat 9/18, 6pm

We know you’ve always wanted to use a butterfly net!

Join Tryon Farm Institute and the Indiana Wildlife Federation for a Monarch tagging event. We will be putting tags on monarch butterflies as they stop here on their migration to Mexico. When the tags are recovered and reported, the unique number helps the data collectors at Monarch Watch better understand migration times of the butterfly.

If you’d like to participate, please email sean.tomlins@gmail.com to RSVP (limit 25), and show up at the Tryon Farm Institute Barn at 5:45pm on Saturday 9/18.

Following the tagging event, we will be showing the film Fantastic Fungi on the barn at 7:30pm. The barn is best outdoor movie venue in the area!
