Annual memberships (known as “Friendships”) are available for students, individuals and families. We welcome Friends to enjoy TFI’s 100+ acre nature preserve and use our recreational trails for your year-round enjoyment. Additionally your Friendship is an important measure of support for our ongoing mission to provide connections between human and natural communities.

About your Friendship
TFI Friendships are a means of financial (donations) support for the organization only, and as such membership as a Friend does not include any corporate ownership rights or responsibilities.
Tryon Farm Institute, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization controlled by a limited group of corporate Members. Members of the Corporation can only be appointed by the organization’s other Members through a defined voting process per its bylaws, generally at the Institute’s Annual Members’ Meeting held in October every year.
Are you interested in being more than just Friends? In helping to govern and shape the future of the Institute? Consider joining as a Member of the Corporation wherein you have ownership and voting rights and can serve on the Institute’s Board of Directors.
