Join us for our Third Annual ‘Wild Woods Adventure’ Camp!
10 lucky kids spend three consecutive mornings in the majestic fields and towering woods of Tryon Farm learning how to set up their very own “wild camp” in a safe natural environment.
Jon (‘Scout’) and Lu (‘Wild Boy’) Hook will be instructing how to use common sense and ingenuity for basic life skills in the woods. Shelter and campfire building, making rope and knots, first aid skills, hiking, plant and animal identification will all be part of this Wild Woods Adventure!
Jon Hook is a wood fired ceramic artist. As an Eagle and Life Scout, he teaches his two boys, Lu (16) and Ry (18), how to live with the land and animals in harmony, with respect and gratitude.
Class size limited to 10.
